  • Senior Orchestras Manager
  • Junior Orchestras and Auditions Manager
  • Regionals and Outreach Manager
  • Music Librarian
  • Storeman/Logistics Co-ordinator (freelance)

Status: Full time, Permanent

Location: NCO’s office is based in Weston-super-Mare, to be relocated to central Bristol in 2019. Travel required across UK for NCO activity


  • c. £35,000 p.a. depending on experience
  • Pension scheme
  • 23 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays

National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain

NCO is the only national charity in the UK that exists to inspire children aged 7 – 14 years old from all backgrounds to achieve their full potential through learning and performing orchestral music.

Main purpose of job:

This newly created post, funded by the Foyle Foundation, represents a special opportunity to play a crucial role in the future development of NCO under the new leadership of Sophie Lewis (Managing Director) and Catherine Arlidge (Artistic and Educational Director).

This role will oversee all aspects of NCO activity and operations, supporting the Managing Director and Artistic and Educational Director to develop and implement an annual programme of activity whilst creating greater organisational resilience, stewarding new partnerships, building profile and seeking commercial opportunities.
